Wow, someone tell the Dodge Durango to slow down, so we can give it another look. The 2022 Dodge Durango R/T Hemi Orange package is lit. Seriously, the HEMI Orange Durango looks like fire, plus it brings a lot of exciting features to the table.

The 2022 Dodge Durango HEMI Orange package comes with striking orange and gunmetal hood stripes that draw the eye. It also comes with orange and black exterior badging, 20-inch black-painted wheels, and blacked-out taillight accents.

The interior features orange accent stitching on all three rows of seats and around the steering wheel, center console, instrument panel, door uppers, armrests, and shifter boots. The look is completed by monochromatic Dodge Rhombi logos on the seatbacks.

You can only get this package with the V8-powered R/T trim, and it’s available with every exterior paint option. The optional colors are Destroyer Gray, Octane Red, Diamond Black, and Knuckle White. The Hemi Orange Package is available for $1,995.

You can pick a 2022 Dodge Durango R/T HEMI Orange package with mechanical upgrades. The regular HEMI Orange Package is primarily an appearance package, but the HEMI Orange Tow N Go package has towing upgrades.

It costs $5,095 and comes with different 20-inch Hyper Black Wheels with Pirelli Scorpion Zero Run Flat 295 tires with orange brake calipers and a Bilstein active dampening high-performance suspension.

You also get all-wheel drive, an electronic limited-slip differential rear axle, wide-body flares, a performance exhaust, hard button drive modes, a class IV trailer hitch, and an integrated trailer brake controller.

The interior is peaceful thanks to active noise canceling, and the automatic headlamp leveling increases visibility. Plus, this setup has a maximum speed of 145 MPH.

According to Dodge Garage, you can get the HEMI Orange Plus Package to add a power sunroof, a 19-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, and advanced safety features. It costs $4,500 to add. The HEMI Orange packages will be available this summer.

The Dodge Durango R/T is powered by the 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine with 360 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque. The standard 3.6-liter V6 engine pumps out 295 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. You can upgrade to the 6.4-liter V8 engine for 475 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque.

When properly equipped, the Durango can tow up to 8,700 lbs. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in about 5.5 seconds.

You get started in a 2022 Dodge Durango for about $36,995. Upgrading to the Dodge Durango R/T trim increases the price to about $49,795. These prices are the MSRPs, so they don’t include the destination fee or dealership markups.

Not many changes are expected for the 2023 Durango. However, more appearance packages and a special edition could emerge. Rumors suggest that the Durango will be redesigned to tackle rivals like the Kia Telluride soon.

We can’t wait to see the new Durango, but it may not arrive until 2024. Until then, we will keep you updated with the latest Dodge news.
