A digital artist showcases his talents with this latest creation of a hot hatch concept, giving it a wide body and big aero kit for the track.

The digital car rendering world is full of some hugely talented and brilliant artists. One of those is Khyzyl Saleem, also known as the_kyza on Instagram, who has produced some incredible pieces of art over the last couple of years and is one of the best there is in the business. This latest rendering from Saleem is a very interesting one. He has taken the Ford Focus RS, and converted it into a rotary RE Amemiya inspired concept, creating a rendering you might not have expected.

For those who aren’t aware, RE Amemiya is a Japanese tuning company, so this Focus has had the full JDM makeover, including that rotary engine. Saleem has really gone to town on the front details with this car. We have a Japanese style license plate on the Focus with “Kyza” written on it, and the traditional grille area is completely gone. The Focus RS has a flat face and a nice air dam below it, to cool that big rotary engine. The front of the car is seemingly attached to one massive splitter with big turning vanes either side.

The hood of the Focus features two bulges, one either side, to leave a smooth center section. If we peer inside the Focus, we can see some impressive racing seats with lime green seatbelts — a very JDM color.

Down the side of the Focus RS there are bigger side skirts than as standard, and naturally Saleem has added bigger wheel fenders at the front and the rear that sit over some pretty incredible looking wheels with a star like design and all in black, while we can just about see the green brake calipers.

The changes are not just at the front and the side of the Focus, either. Saleem has added a huge rear wing to the car, sitting above the rear window above the fascia, and it certainly stands out. We can get a closer look at the big wheel fenders too, while it's also easy to spot the giant exhausts on the car. It is a dual exhaust setup, one on either side, and in between those is a big diffuser with a little turning vane at either side.
