Chevrolet Silverado Tricycle Is A John Deere Batmobile

If you’ve ever wanted to be Batman, but from Texas, then you might have something in common with the nut who built this crazy three-wheeled angry-eye-generation Chevrolet Silverado.

The vehicle was posted to the Facebook group “GMT800s With Threatening Auras“, and… Yup. This checks out.

We’ve all seen the Top Gear segment with Jeremy Clarkson and his tippy trip through the UK in a Reliant Robin. The builder either didn’t see that clip, or decided that they could do it better.

This vehicle isn’t in the UK, though, it’s been spotted multiple times in the Kilgore, Texas area, but this is the first time that somebody has actually managed to get decent photographs of it. The design of the front suspension reminds us of the Tumbler from Christian Bale’s Dark Knight depiction, although there’s only one front wheel on this one.

To make this majestic Chevrolet Silverado creation, the front spindle, caliper, and brake disc were removed from the right side of the vehicle and lined up in a central position in front of the grille. A custom frame was then extended out from the left side frame rail, which holds onto the spindle. to make the vehicle turn, the steering box was attached to the frame and uses a pitman arm to connect directly to the single tie rod.

Unless we’re mistaken, the truck doesn’t seem to have any kind of front suspension, unless it’s hiding underneath the bodywork. We’d really love to see some pictures of the vehicle from underneath. To top it all off, the creation is finished in a perfectly color-matched shade of John Deere green, complete with a yellow stripe and bowtie.

Why would somebody build this Chevrolet Silverado tricycle? well, perhaps to save a bit of money on maintenance, after all, there are only 3 sets of brakes to service now, not to mention that the owner only needs to buy three tires. Do you know those “buy three get one free” tire deals? this person essentially just hacked that market to get free tires for infinity.

She’s a beaut, Clark. If you think you hate it now, wait until you drive it!
