CARS.COM — Vehicles affected by service bulletin:

The problem: Drivers may note the front brakes squealing when applying them at low speeds combined with light steering. This is due to excessive sealant on the front brake-caliper adapters getting onto the front brake pads.

Corrective action: Dealers will clean the excess sealant from the front brake-caliper adapters and replace the contaminated front brake pads.

Warranty info: This service bulletin is being done free of charge under the new-vehicle warranty.

What owners should do: Call your local dealer with your vehicle’s identification number to determine if it’s involved in this service campaign. You can also call Fiat USA at 888-242-6342, Jeep at 877-426-5337, or NHTSA at 888-327-4236. Reference TSB No. 05-010-15A.
