With production ending in 2022 on the iconic Ford sportscar, this is a great opportunity to own a Carbon Series edition, and this one is stunning.

The Ford GT will soon have its production run stopped, meaning being able to get your hands on an example of the Ford supercar will be incredibly hard. Occasionally though, an example will crop up for sale, albeit very expensive. Like this one on Bring a Trailer. This is a 2019 Ford GT Carbon Series, that is currently located in Hawthorne, California and has just 50 miles on the clock. And the bidding for the car currently stands at just over $1 million.

This is a truly special looking example of the Ford GT. This particular example is in Frozen White, with a blue center stripe, and it features the Carbon Blue graphics package, which is an option of some $15,000 for the GT. It includes matching mirror caps to the center stripe and the brake calipers. There are other additional features on the GT too. These include a lightweight Gorilla glass windshield, butterfly doors, a retractable active rear wing and a rear diffuser. An XPEL paint protection film is on the car, added by the selling dealer.

The most interesting feature of this Ford GT is the $70,000 Carbon Series Package. This package saves around 40 lbs of weight on the car, and features a host of exposed carbon parts. This includes exposed carbon fiber stripes, carbon fiber wheels, a titanium exhaust system, titanium lug nuts and a polycarbonate engine cover with increased ventilation. Inside the Ford GT, the interior is also optioned with the carbon package. Exposed carbon fiber is visible on the door sills, dashboard, center console and the seatbacks. Amenities inside the Ford GT include air conditioning and a touchscreen Ford infotainment system.

Under the hood of the Ford GT is a mid-mounted V6 engine. Specifically, this is a twin-turbo 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine that has a carbon fiber shroud. The engine has 647 hp and that power is all set to the rear wheels. Transmission wise, the Ford GT has a Getrag seven-speed dual-clutch transaxle and the Bring a Trailer listing states an oil change was also carried out on the car in October 2021. A few other interesting things to note on the car are its 20-inch gloss carbon-fiber wheels and that it comes with a window sticker, build photos, factory books and a clean Carfax report.
